In law school, I was repeatedly told that I was a "type A" personality. I was shocked to hear the news. I immediately wrote "research type A personalities" on my to-do list along with a deadline to accomplish the task by.
Point is... whether I am "type A" or not, I like lists. I also love bullet points and checkmarks. And crossing things off of lists when they are accomplished. So when I found Evernote, a new beautiful phase of my life had begun.
It is a free app that will change will your life. Go download it now!
I can read articles online all day and clip recipes or quotes I want to save. Then when I go home, I pull up evernote on my laptop, phone, or kindle and it is all there waiting for me!
I can write a grocery list at home and it is on my phone when I run to the store. It is like someone sat down and thought, "I'll develop an app to help the crazy overcommitted hoarding types at least be able to access their craziness from anywhere."
AND everything I save is searchable. So those 30 recipes I saved last month can be searched by ingredient, author, title, anything. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This is the best invention everrrrrrrrrrrrr!
I do feel obligated to warn you that Evernote is an enabler.
I am now an enabled virtual hoarder. (PS: The intial app is free but has storage limits (which not even I have reached), the pro version is limitless.) Oh boy, limitless recipe collection here I come!
